Title: Hawaii ........ Varroa mites have arrived.
Post by: SteveSC on April 26, 2007, 10:42:41 AM
I guess it was just a matter of time,  It's not legal to import bees to Hawaii - looks like someone got around the law or maybe they came in on used woodware from the mainland...  Doesn't really matter now...

Currently they are only on Ohau. But it has brought the industry in Hawaii to a stand still.

No worries. I am glad someone else is noticing. Next to CCD this issue in Hawaii is a big time problem for them.

Sincerely,
Brendhan
