Post by: trapperbob on April 29, 2007, 01:22:44 AM
Not sure if this is normal so just checking. There seems to be small wax pellets on the bootom board and all around the entrance. So is this normal.

Once something hits the floor bees are through with it.It could be normal I have also seen excess wax on the floor and entrance when a hive was being robbed out .Just do an inspection but probably just normal debris

Small wax bits are not unusual. Just keep an eye out for more and more of them. It could be a sign of a pest. A few is normal a lot is not.

Sincerely,
