What is the going retail price for honey in your area?
I'm seeing prices as high at 3.50 US for 6 ounces on the net.

Wow. Amazing what you can charge when you tap into the "boutique" honey market... 4.00 US/pound for bulk sales...
Well, I plan on doing something on the net and I can see that I'll easily be able to undercut these charactors.
Unless you can market all your honey yourself, the most a packer will pay is the wholesale price. Here in florida my citrus honey crop would sell anywhere from .80-1.25 a pound, which is way underpriced of what i think it is worth.

You do almost all the work so they can mark it up 500%
i sale mine in mason jars [ pints] for $6.50 a jar, if they buy a case of 12 jars it is $6.00 a jar. i have 19 cases ordered already plus 3 cases of chunk honey, chunk honey sales for $ 9.50 a jar in a case, $10.00 for a single jar.
