Today I discovered that my bees have completely filled up their upper deep with capped honey. I put on a super, of course, but I was wondering if it would a bad idea to snag a couple frames for a little taste test. Eh?
Grab 3 or 4 and replace with frames of foundation. Just make sure you don't get any of the brood nest.
It's what I'd do.

Step 1.
Pull every other frame and replace it with an empty.
Step 2.
Get a little honey from the frames on your finger and taste it.
Step 3.
If it tastes good. Rant and rave about how good your honey is.
Step 4.
If it tastes bad. Rant and rave about how good your honey is.
Then feed it back to your bees and warn them about quality control.
Sincerely,
Brendhan
Hah I like the ideas. I really need to get more frames and foundation. Ack!
