Title: Dissapointed, Stumped, Need help!
Post by: doak on May 28, 2007, 01:32:19 PM
Put the frame of brood with eggs and all ages of larve  in the queenless hive Friday.
Checked it just now. "TWO" freshly capped queen cells.
There was queen starter cups on the bottom of the frame, but didn't look any were on the way in the building. Is it possible I could have missed these two? Don't even have any nucs made up. Was planning to make them up the week of the 4th of June.

Should I take these cells and let the brood hatch so I'll have some new nurse bees. then put another frame of eggs/brood in next week?
Wha-chal think?

Leave them alone. The bees know what they are doing.
