I am in the process of cutting down deep frames to mediums. Some of the 3 inch cutoff sections still contain some pollen. I hate to think it might be wasted.

Can I somehow feed this back to them like when we let them clean up extracted frames on top of the inner cover?

Thanks, Ray

They might take it as feed in the early Spring if there is a shortage of pollen available.  Any other time of the year they will just ignore it.

What Robo said.

I suppose if you wanted to you could freeze it now and in the spring cut out the comb, tie two pieces of it into frames and give it to them in the spring for pollen.

Thanks  for the responses. I'll just bag em up and freeze and refeed next year. Only have a few more deeps to cut down and then I'll have all mediums.
