Parasitic ant's!

The big buggers are a good inch long, they love dry country and build underground  nests, the openings look like volcanos with all the pebbles piled up in a cone. Drop one pebble down the hole and you end up with hundreds pouring out to defend the nest. I gather the cone acts as a funnel, any insect that crosses the lip, has no purchase and rolls into the nest to become tucker.

I will see what i can find over the chrissie break for you nepo.
