Was given a 3/4 full bucket of syrup.  Smells like it has at least partly fermented. Very thick and heavy.  Tastes OK to me.

Can I feed it to my bees?  Doesn't have an alcohol taste but wouldn't want the girls to get started with a bad habit and start partying.

I have had some start to ferment and gave it to them anyway, did not have any ill effects.

Well gunny, depending on what part of NC you're girls are from they may be use to a little shine.
                              Steve,

Mici

i read somewhere that fermented (that has startet to ferment) honey should be fed back, now i know honey ferments very rarely but still i've read it.
though i had little luck with feeding bubbly substances, had to pour it away (wouldn't even wanna feed it, some how it went bad and i didn't know)

Well now!  They might.  Now the key ingredient in that stuff would be corn.

If honey is left in the comb, in the heat for too long it will ferment.

only if moisture can get to it, I have had a shape of comb honey rapped in a plastic bag for 3 months now, capped honey will not ferment, open honey will......
THAT's ME TO THE LEFT JUST 5 MONTHS FROM NOW!!!!!!!!

I stand corrected. I was thinking of all the times I have smelled fermented honey in houses I have done removals in and Ted you are right the honey in theses combs were uncapped, that had fermented.
