hey jp, guess what!
another local hive was offered to me today!
just 3 to 4 miles down la 1 in matthews.

i am going to check it out tomorrow and will let you know what it looks like,
i plan on attempting to block any exit points above the hive before attempting to pull any comb this time.
this one is in an old house that is no longer occupied just like the last one.
i dont believe that i will need to repair the cut out this time either.

i am hoping that i wont need the bee vac or help this time ;)

most often i find my greatest source of stress to be OPS  ( other peoples stupidity )

It is better to keep ones mouth shut and be thought of as a fool than to open ones mouth and in so doing remove all doubt.

If you need help you know just where to find me. Love the avatar that suits you to the tee.

For those of you who don't know Bailey, he and I met as a result of a hive that swarmed into one of his purple martin gourds, I have mentioned this in another post or two. Anyway, Bailey loves to fish! He turned me on to a couple of fine fishing trips out in the gulf of mexico, next to some of the oil rigs. The first trip out we caught and fished for mahi mahi, aka Dorado dolphin. This is an excellent eating fish, and a beautiful fish to boot. We have caught red snapper, lane snapper, and amberjack, and while we fish we talk about bees. Bailey is also into making mead now as well and is just about finished with his first batch, can't wait to try it.

He will be an excellent attribute to this site as he pays very close attention to detail, and is a fast learner. Anyway, have a great one Bailey, and the rest of ya'll, have a great day!!!!

Sincerely, JP
