Robber Screen ?

I bought some robber screens from Brushy Mt..   I put them on last Wednesday, & checked on the bess Saturday to see how they were ajusting.  Most of the bees were flying around behind the screen, very few were flying out the top hole.  I opened up one of the bottom covers to let them go.  How long does it take for the bees to get aclamated to knowing where the top entrance is?  I hopeing to start feeding next week with HBH, one hive only has enough bees to cover 3-frames, and i'm sure they would be robbed out.

The local residents usually figure it out quickly.  The robbers usually don't figure it out at all.
