Woodchopper, oh, I can imagine how you must have felt, but I agree with Danno, I don't think it was your fault at all (or the wires for the matter), dystemper sounds like the culprit, that drives critters through to the deep end.  Let that go, and believe that it was not the wire.  Have a wonderful and beautiful day, love our life.  Cindi

Thanks you Danno and Cindy. I didn't know about skunks getting distemper doing that. Makes sense though.

I have owned a animal removal business for 15 yrs now and have removed many sick animals.  Animals with distemper act like they are drunk,  walking in circles, falling down, dont know if it day or night and die in a short time
