Does anyone know if a younger bee is more likely to sting than an older bee? Is there a difference in the poison, quanity or strength, in an older be VS younger bee?

Mici

younger bee is much less likely going to sting. as she get's older her venom gland grows, so a very young bee also has much less poison, it's the older bees that protect the hive and actually face dangers outside the hive.
one of the principles of "bee-beards" is USE YOUNG BEES.

KONASDAD

older bees are "crochety" and short tempered too.
