 Here's one of mine. The beek is 1/2 inch tall. the finished model sets in a half pint canning jar.






I was born about 100 years too early, or to late.

  In model railroads it's called N Scale. That's 1/64th of full sized. The tree and grass is scratch built, as is one hive. The beek in this one came from a model detail kit.
  It's fastened to the inner lid of a wide mouth jar and the jar and ring form a dome over the model. Can't take a picture of the finished item as the glass blocks the view.

Super cute! At first I thought it was a tiny cematery model and I thought " What the hell does this have to do with bees..." Then I realized I may nee glasses...Hee-haw...

Heh, reminded me of the movie Beetle Juice. Seriously nice exhibit. Bet the kids especially would love it if you were doing a presentation about beekeeping.
