Are there any problems facing hive entrances toward each other?

When I originally set up my bee yard, I put in two sets of rails for hives, about four feet apart, with the hives facing out.
(So, two rows, with the backs of the hives to each other.)

This means I need to approach the hives from the front to work them, which I have since learned is not ideal.

So, I'm thinking about just turning them around to face each other, so I am always approaching from the back.

It's not a problem.  I do this all the time when doing an even split.  I face both the new colonies to the old location.
