In a previous post, http://forum.beemaster.com/index.php/topic,16220.0.html, I asked about being queenless.

Well, after talking to my mentor I took 3 frames of eggs, larva and capped brood and placed them along with a frame of honey/pollen and a frame of foundation into a 5 frame nuc. Also, 2 of the frames of brood had queen cells. I have been checking them daily. Today the queencells were all open. I was not able to see a new queen, but I understand that they are tough to see.  The bees in the nuc were also very calm and docile. I take this to mean that they now have a queen.

Any comments or suggestions on how to procede would be appreciated.

Thanks

Mike
