Hello everyone, starting to get some honey and wondering if you have to sterilize jars (pint mason) like you do for veggies before the honey goes in.thanks bill

i wash mine real good in hot soapy water.

I put all of mine in the dishwasher on a "light" wash cycle with heat dry.  Works great.
I won't let grass grow under my feet, there will be plenty of time to push up daisies.

No "sterilization" needed, just make sure that they are clean (and dry).

Honey is naturally antibiotic, mainly due to the high sugar content.  Over time it can ferment, but that isn't because of the jar.

I run mine through the dishwasher on the rinse cycle.
