Came home from work the other day. I have not been in them for a month or so  One hive had all of sudden became real active . I thought  I better have a look to see what was going on. A huge swarm had moved in   . Nice com bunch of bees and the queen looks like a russian with a nice yellow mark on her head.

Everyone said it couldn't be done. But he with a chuckle replied, "I won't be one to say it is so, until I give it a try."  So he buckled right in with a trace of a grin.  If he had a worry he hid it and he started to sing as he tackled that thing that couldn't be done, and he did it.  (unknown)

You mean she was marked?  Yellow was last years color if the person was using the color standard.  Any other beeks in your area?
