Only if the first has been consumed by then.   :-D

The second bottle may taste so much better that the first bottle becomes second or third fiddle!

It still has that first bottle status though, kinda like the first dollar you earn, or the first customer of a new business.  Sure you'll make more money later, and there are more profitable customers, but there's always a special place in your heart for that first one.

The BEST honey is right out of the burr comb, still warm!!!

The second best is when you get it in the bottle.

I still prefer the later summer honey(clover, knapweed) over the early summer honey (linden).  You'll see. (and have to decide yourself what you like best)

PS my first bottle of honey was from goldenrod.  Definiately not the best, unless you like dirty gym socks!!!  I do remember it well, though.

If you look at it like that, he should just frame the dang thing then!!!

If we wanted it framed, he'd just give it back to the bees.   :-D   ;)   :-\

Ok, bad pun.

It is sitting on a shelf in my bedroom and will prolly stay there, since it is my first jar.

Yeh, Frame it!
But eat some first!

Yep, there will be an empty jar up there pretty soon, but that's a good thing, since you'll be needing more empty jars to put the honey in soon.   :-D

I still had a gallon of honey left over after filling all my jars, so i put it in a milk jug and went and ordered 8 cases of 12 bottles that are getting here tuesday. Then i can finish bottling it up.  :)
