 C. It depends on what you do to keep them out.

Until you stop it or the hive being robbed has not one drop of honey left and they will shortly starve.

Answer is A. Take it from me and the post I have already commented on. Robbing is no fun at all. I lost my hive, luckly a swarm moved in the other day, from robbing and other mistakes on my part. Anyway read Michael's site and it will help out a lot.

Seal the hive being robbed. Seal the hive doing the robbing that evening.

Make sure hive being robbed has food, give food ( frames of honey if available) and seal.

Could also move hive doing the robbing to another bee yard if possible.

Check hive being robbed once coast is clear for stores and queenlessness or other issues.

Michael,

Your page doesn't include using a sprinkler which I think is very effective in dealing with robbing.

It probably is as is a wet bed sheet and a few other things, but I haven't used any of them.  I always seem to be able to handle it with what I was doing.  I also didn't cover Jim Fischer's method of opening the lid on every hive to get them all busy defending their own honey.
