feeding after a robbery

How soon after a robbery can I feed?  I have a robber screen installed and set up a feeding station about 100' away and it seems pretty popular with the bees. We should have nice weather for several days (possibly the last for the season) and I want to take advantage of it before it turns cold and before I leave for a job away from home.  The colony that was robbed got hit hard.  However, I don't want to end up encouraging more robbing. I'll be using a top feeder if that matters.
