Hello Everyone,

I'm pretty sure I'm ready to by start buying some hive boxes (body, supers and brooders).  With my young kids helping me, I thinking about 8 frame medium boxes. What's your opinion on eight frame boxes?  Also, in there any place around Farmington NM to get them?  If not, who should I order them from.  Please submit response here or email me at [email protected]

Thanks,
Greg

8 Frame mediums is the only thing I use.  The size is easier and lighter to handle and the ability to take any frame from anywhere in any hive and place it any where else I want of need it is simplicity of operation.

It's what I use as well.  I love them.

I think no one should buy boxes of a size that they can't lift them when they are full of honey...

That is exactly why I use the 8 frame mediums. Got a bad back and have to be able to lift them.
Plus I like the idea of keeping everything the same size, it just simplifies everything.
