Yep, I bow hunt. Anyone that wants to shoot Ohio does - let me know. Way too many at Frog Pond... need to shoot 'em down for herd management. Hoping the freezers will be full this fall...

First & foremost, I am a nature lover & an animal lover
I thoroughly enjoy being outdoors & observing nature. This is what I am sure lead me to beekeeping. Some people will never understand why anyone hunts, this is ok, to each his own. I also want to mention that I do not consider hunting a game, and am fine if I do not take anything, but I only take what I will eat, & I enjoy venison, rabbit, wild pig, froglegs,etc...
I like being close to game & observing them, some times I let them walk because I was too involved in watching & enjoying them. Some of my most memorable moments were in the woods & I look forward to entering whenever time permits, I would not trade these precious moments shared with friends & family for all the money in the world. Hunting I can honestly say has enriched my life.

I went bow hunting once.

Never did find a bow.

Been a hunter all my life.  Bowhunted since '89.  Don't always bring home game, but I always see something to talk about and share with my friends.

Bow hunted off and on since 1973.  Depends on where in the world I was and what I was doing at the time.  Unfortunately due to injury I can't hold draw for more than a few seconds.  If I want to go now I'ld have to find a crank crossbow.    That's the way it goes sometimes.  But...I'm young I'll adjust.

P.S.  Nothing beats getting out in the woods.  I seem to have a different attitude with a hunting tool as opposed to a camera.  I see more when I'm in the predator mode.  Don't always kill, that's not why I go out all the time.  Though the kill is part of it at times.  Just not always.
Everyone said it couldn't be done. But he with a chuckle replied, "I won't be one to say it is so, until I give it a try."  So he buckled right in with a trace of a grin.  If he had a worry he hid it and he started to sing as he tackled that thing that couldn't be done, and he did it.  (unknown)
