My packages arrived today.  Luckily it was decent weather, just a few rain sprinkles, then sunshine.  I did have one dead queen, first time that has happened.  I called and a new queen is being shipped today.  Supposed to be in the 80's here this week...wahoo!

Odds are there's a queen lose in the package with the dead queen...

That is possible.  I had better look closer.  No matter I can put the new queen in a nuc until I am sure of whats going on.

Michael, I think you are right.  I checked the hive today, did not find the queen, but they seem to be ok, drawing comb...etc.  Will know for sure, if there are eggs in a few days.
