Nosema and Queens

Hi, I have a couple of 2008 queens whose colonies have dwindled to virtuallly nothing- I believe due to Nosema. I have treated them with Fumidil B. Would these Queens be any good to head up Nucs or would the Nosema have caused long term damage to them? I have heard it might cause them to become infertile.

Any thoughts really welcome.
