Weak split

I received a couple of splits from a local beekeeper and one of this is pretty weak.  I have a couple of frames with brood and honey. My question is what should I do to help ensure their survival? Should I just put them in a 5 frame nuc to help them survive?

Placing the two frames in a nuc with an additional frame of brood in various stages (if you have it) and two frames of honey and pollen will help.  Feeding 1:1 syrup will help as well.
