Hi All,

Been lurking here a bit, and decieded to throw my hat into the ring.  New to Bee keeping, but have experience handling Bees.  Starting out with 5 hives this year, Bees come in 10 days.  Lots of good info here look forward to getting to know you folks.

Yes you will!! My son Trey and I both attend the Middlesex Bee Keepers meetings. How long did you live in Concord and where?

I grew up here too, we moved here in 1967 and except for school and a stint up in Maine in boatbuilding school, I have lived here ever since. :D

Glad to have another Massachusetts Beekeeper on board!

My parents bought a house in Concord in 1975 or so, and sold it recently.  They lived over on the Concord Acton line on Commerford Rd.  I couldn't afford Concord and we were lucky to get the house we did in Groton.  We have been here for five years.

Chad,

I played bagpipes in Groton for First Night this past January, were you around?

Jay

Groton is a beautiful town, you can still get a decent parcel of land when you buy a house there. Some of the towns around the burbs outside Boston are getting so overbuilt that you can practically refill your neighbors coffee cup just by opening your window and leaning out!

Welcome.  My mother-in-law is from Grafton.  Have you bee going to the Worcester County Beekeepers classes at U-Mass-Med?  I was there on Thursday.

Chad S

Hey Amy,

Sorry I missed the Bag Pipes will have to catch you next time you are in town.

Bee Man,

I'm from Groton.  Grafton is about 40 minutes from me.  I am in Middlesex county, so I joined the Middlessex club.  I hear the Worcester Bee school is very good.   I am also a member of NOFA, and a couple of the people on the conference comitty that I am on go to the Worchester meeting.

Nice to hear from all of you.  My Bees got pushed back a week which is fine I guess that gives me more time to get the Ranch squared away.

Ah, Groton,  even closer to me than Grafton!  I am so dumb!
