swampland beekeeping questions

some of you Florida/ Georgia /south Carolina beeks should be able to answer a few questions that i have.
1. how well do bees do in a swampy area? ( swamp on all sides within 150 yards )
2. what type of production can be expected since it is a wet area all the time? ( south louisiana fresh water swamp )
3. what about the quality of swamp honey? i noticed an abundance of  palmetto, various water plants that bloom and cypress/tupelo trees as well as chinese tallow and willow and unknown other plants.

the area that i have found has wild stock bees and no beeks within 20 miles at least other than me.
there are high spots to place hives and i feel that i should be able to get permission to place a large number of hives in the area.

Do you have black mangroves?  If so, they produce a lot of nectar and make a very nice honey imo.  Ours here in central FL bloom in mid summer.

our mangrove only grow on the coast near the salt water. not going to put any hives south of the intercostal canal, that would be begging for lost hives in this area.

the area i found is a true fresh water swamp. no mangrove here in the fresh water.
