I have always enjoyed this video and seeing how they had everything going back in 1981, it just seems you dont find set ups like this any more, I know we have new models but none seem to be as easy as this one.

Ted, beauty.  I should take a video of me crushing and straining my bit of honey I got this year, would put them to shame  ;) :) :).  Great video, have that most wonderful day, to love and live and share, health.  Cindi
There are strange things done in the midnight sun by the men who moil for gold.  The Arctic trails have their secret tales that would make your blood run cold.  The Northern Lights have seen queer sights, but the queerest they ever did see, what the night on the marge of Lake Lebarge, I cremated Sam McGee.  Robert Service

I can only imagine how much an extractor like that cost. Thanks for posting this.

That was so great, thanks for sharing.  I bet it cost a fortune to run that machinery and probably breaks down alot I would think with all those moving parts.

Still it all looks so so easy.

WOW!!!

I had no Idea that anything this complicated even existed.

Thanks TwT that was a good one.  I too looked at some of the other clips they have.  I see what's wrong in my honey house now and my system.  I play the wrong background music, wrong extractors, wrong uncapper, wrong everything lol.  That was intresting I enjoyed seeing that system run so smoothly.  And thank you for sharing it with us.
Without Thomas Edison & Alexander Graham Bell we wouldn't have the graveyard shift or Telemarketers.  So how do you like them now?

TwT

mathispollenators, if you were to take them hives up north to your other place (which is a good honey state) you might need that set up to extract your honey, like on the other video's, you would have them semi's lined up waiting to load up  :-D

May be if I played a little bit of music in the back ground, my extracting would go a little easier.   Thanks for showing the video, it was very interesting to watch and see how the "big boys" do it.  Thanks again.

He who would gather honey must bear the sting of the bees.

That is just a lot of gears, chains, switches, gizmos and other clockwork that can break!!!  Imagine keeping that beast running?  Not to mention places to get fingers cut off!

And the oil needed to keep that running...how's that kept out of the honey?

On the bright side with what takes 4 hours now, I would be done extracting in 2 minutes or less :).
