Whoa! How many lb of spuds did you plant?!?  We put in about 90 this year, but we also sell most for our business...

No spuds this year.   It was too wet to plow early in spring (feb-march) and just did not get them out.  Have some sweet potatoes slips in there with most everything else edible.

Buzz, what's the tall bushy plant by the corn? (around the same height as the corn).
I planted late for us this year (around march 28th), but I "invented" a single space planter (I put corn, beans and squash together and a single row planter wouldn't get it.) - lots of sprouted things already but nothing for showing off yet, also have to replace the well pump soon.

I did not plant as much this year. Our spring was wet so I got a late start. Also spent more time with my bees this year trying to recover from last falls losses. What I did plant looks GREAT! We are getting about 5 gallons of squash and cukes (2.5 of each) every other day. My potatoes will be ready soon. My sweet corn is over 6 feet high and tasseling now. Should be eating corn by the 4th of July.

Yes, it has been a wet wet spring, and summer too.    Green beans are coming in now also.  Here are what the squash and cubes look like this year.

Check out this crazy corn tassels.
