Okay dear bee friends, getting ready to inspect the hives...noticed lot's of drones flying this afternoon...any ideas?

I won't be able to open things up until tomorrow, wah...

Many thanks **

Michael Bush

It sounds like afternoon at the beehives in spring... the drones are all headed out to their days work (searching for a queen until they are exhaused) and the hive has a healthy number of them to do the job, which means they are prospering enough to spare the food to do so.  I'd say things sound great.

Good luck Sharon with the inspection. I would be curious to know how your hives are doing after the inspection.  You have had lots of luck just leaving them alone.

Good to see you again
