Supering

Right now there is one med. super on each of my two hives. Both are fully drawn out. When the bees get close to filling them, I know I need to add another super. I plan on using foundationless frames. What would be better; put the empty super on top of the nearly full one, or put the empty super in between the hive body and the nearly full super?

once there is around 7 I would put the new super on top, that is, if you have no problems lifting.
If you put the nearly filled one on top they may not finish it.
Or if you are set up to do this. Just take out frames that are fully capped and replace with empty frames.

I would also put the empty super on top of the nearly full one, but make sure that your spacing is right this avoiding the bees from being over crowded.

I would do as Doak says. Just make sure you have a good flow going before placing foundationless frames. Without a starter strip nor foundation, with little or hardly a flow, they could potentially cross comb on you. Just something to consider.
