First outyard

I setup my first outyard on Saturday and moved four hives onto it tonight after the girls(at least most of them) had returned for the night.  Moving bees in the dark makes for a different experience.  Got one sting on the end of a finger for my trouble.  I guess she was telling me the ride wasn't smooth enough :) 

It's got room for four more hives on the stands I setup so far.  I'll be splitting those four hives in a couple weeks.  I may end up putting another stand four more hives bringing the total to 12 at this site.

Should be an interesting year.
