G'day Guys and greetings from "Downunder"

I need some advice - i'm looking at hiring out my hives for almond pollination in July/August. I've offered up 20 hives. I've still got about 8 - 10 weeks of the season left with a flow of eucalyptus just about to start. The requirements for pollination are an average of 8 full frames of bees. I've got some really strong hives that are currently three boxes high which i will soon be pulling down to two boxes high. I also have some five frame nucs that i am going to move in to full size boxes and i'm going to use the drawn frames from the three box high hives to fill out the additional space in the nuchs i have moved to full boxes. I want to supply all of my hives as two deep - the problem i face is with the nucleus hives that i'm going to move in to full size boxes over the coming weeks. How do i go getting them to draw a full box of foundation that i'll place on top? Am i stupid for considering to do this? I'm also going to be re-queening all of my hives this weekend with brand new queens so they will be young and vigorous and hopefully take advantage of the flow - it's still fairly warm over here although the nights are dipping to 15oC - 20oC (59oF - 68oF). One other thing is that some of the hives i'm going to be offering come from cut-outs which i'm still waiting on them to tie all of the cut-out foundation in to the frames. The Queens i will be getting are carniolan X italian and, from past experience, they are really good at overwintering and quick build up.

Any advice would be appreciated...

I spoke with the pollination contractor last night - he said they're happy to accept single boxes with an average of 8 frames of bees - i think i would be better breaking all of my doubles etc down in to singles and focusing on providing booming singles (I use 8 frame boxes so they have to be booming!) rather than try and build up a hive to fill doubles with the season coming to a close

there should be plenty of drawn comb even some with extra resources-from the boxes that are
reduced from triples to doubles-if not the plan of running singal boxes is viable-but it-would be to your
advantage to provide them space to grow into- depending on the bloom -which i suspect is almonds
the bees can really explode in size-dont try and draw out any foundation en-less you anticipate a fairly good flow
of nectar-there is little chance that it will get drawn out in the grove-many keepers have left empty boxes of foundation on the top
only to receive a no pass from the person who grades the hive-so  with that in mind if the empty box is placed on the
bottom-(yes i know it goes against good beekeeping practices) when the lid is popped open to grade they will see your
eight frames of bees -instead of empty foundation-it may save you a head ache--RDY-B
