Hive design information/name

do you mean that the hive cant move "away". The hives have a fold on the top.

I really do like this design. Interlocking bodies, indestructible components. Thanks Michael. I don't understand why the USA beekeeps have not demanded these types of components. Wood, even cyprus, has a limited life. The bodies would only have to be sized to our existing frames. The interlocking bodies would seem to stand up to the high winds better. I don't know, it could be that this woman makes it all look so easy. :-D
I also really like the bee brush she uses. What is that a goose wing or something? It looks like it works quite well.

I think the brush are horsehair. I have a bee brush with plastic bristles.
