You can order queens into September.  They are cheaper and easier to find this time of year than in the spring.
My website:  bushfarms.com/bees.htm en espanol: bushfarms.com/es_bees.htm  auf deutsche: bushfarms.com/de_bees.htm  em portugues:  bushfarms.com/pt_bees.htm

Good luck with the Carniolians, I tried to find a queen for one of my Carniolian hives about a week ago and everyone supplying carniolians were sold out! I eventually had to re-queen with a three banded Itailian queen from Wilbanks. I will re-queen again in the spring with a Carniolian from Strachan. If you find one, let me know where you found it! :D

I don't know this individual,  but there is at least one person on Beesource that was happy with their spring queens  (check the for sale forum)
