Plastic Queen Rearing Kits

Hello, has anyone here ever used one of these and if you have would you recommend it ?

I went to a talk this past weekend and one of the instructors said queens don't like to lay eggs into the plastic parts of these kits. I did a search here and saw some of you have had good results with these kits. Any advice would be appreciated as I'm considering buying the one from Mann-Lake.

I bought the jenter queen kit that looks just like that one years ago.   Never got to use it.   Swarms, splits, and queen cells have me with queens.  I would like to try it once to find out.

Looks like the Nicot.  It works fine if you follow the right procedures.  Parts seem to be more readily available than Jenter.

Jim, ironically I'm thinking about doing the Miller Method now for a few reasons. If you saw the presenter I did at the Mass Bee Field Day {Backyard Beekeepers} she made it look pretty easy. She said a queenless hive might be more apt to accept a queen cell if they are tricked into thinking it's one of theirs. Of the hive we're going to have this year I'd like to buy one New World Carniolin and requeen one hive with her and have her make us some queen cells to requeen some of our hives with. Not sure if it'll work but I imagine I'll learn some while attempting it. Thanks for posting that link and Thank You everybody else who offered me advice.  :-D
