Texas (DFW area) Any local places to buy bees/nucs?

Yep, it's pretty much all in the title  :-P

I would much rather physically go somewhere fairly local to buy my first (yea, I said first as in very first lol) hive. Anybody out there know of any? I've searched online and found a few 3-4 hours away. Just hoping for something closer.

All I know about is George's Apiary in Norman, OK (405-872-8385) and the Weavers down in Navasota.  I bought my first from George but not sure he is still selling nucs. There are several beeks in your area and perhaps someone is willing to sell you one to get started.  Good Luck!

Ah, to a true Texan 3-4 hours would be normal. :jerry: I'm a transplant from Ohio with alot to do and very little time to do it. 3-4 hours was quite disheartening to me
