I am looking for a way to analyze honey short of me having to become a scientist.

As I understand it, refractometers usually only measure water content.  Have I got that wrong?

I would like to find a way, buying whatever equipment is available, to test the honey for grade, sugar content, water of course, and anything else that one might want to know in a honey analysis.

I need to find something and order it today or tomorrow, if possible.  Can some of you give me some leads/advice?

Thanks.

Found these:
http://www.beebitz.com/processing_equipment.htm
Listing things such as - honey grading glasses, refractometer, and more.

This one costs $542 (US dollars), but seems to be a rather complete kit:

Includes honey color analyzer, refractometer, 82 matched square cuvets, 30 ml of glycerol, (2) 5 ml syringes, (2) 9V batteries, 12 VDC tranformer and instruction manual. Provides immediate results with a digital readout. No more judging by eye.

This site has a couple things on pages 67 and 68. http://www.mannlakeltd.com/

Hope this information help some.

You are a lifesaver.  Just in time.  Thank you so much.
