A quick video on feeding packages. It was really windy and made audio difficult,so I may do a remake this weekend.Hope it helps some.

Great video.  I really liked all the bees buzzing the camera.

buzzbee

Thanks Allen,
I had to hide the camera behind a bee hive to keep the wind from whistling worse than it was.

adamant

on your inner cover being used as a top entrance: would that promote robbing?

buzzbee

It could, but sliding the telescoping cover to the rear would also cover the hole.I have some inner covers without the notch, and you could cover the notch with a piece of duct tape if needed.

Great video Ken, on the top entrance and robbing, I am sure it has happened before but I have never had it happen there, the entrance is to small and as soon as you open it guard bees go to it, now the boardman feeder will cause robbing if you dont reduce the entrance.

Great video. This is exactly what I was looking for three weeks ago when I got my first package of bees.
Thanks for making the video - the bird feeder idea is great if I didn't buy a hive-top feeder I would give that a try.

Great video, thanks for sharing!

Great video.  Thank you for taking the time to produce it.  What are your thoughts on frame feeders?  Beautiful country, too.

buzzbee

I think if it is constructs well so that bees can crawl out that they would be fine.I have never tried one but it would not be out of the question.

Updated ,added new video.

I didn't mention the frame feeder, as I did not have one to show.It slipped my mind.
