I have 3 hives that have made it this far thought winter .
I have dry sugar on all 3 hives and the temps. are in the 40s and low 50s during the days do you all think i should feed them some beepro or just let them go?
And if so can i just put some in with the dry sugar?
I'm going into my third year of beekeeping and plan on doing some splits and try my hand at raising a queen.
My first year was a  disaster i had 2 hives from packages and one went queen less and got robed out  and the other one froze {no Ventilation} by JAN.
My second year been much better i bought 3 nucs from a Apiaries in my state and did alot of reading and the hive are doing well so this year will be really  fun plus i ordered 4 more nucs from a diffrent Apiaries in my state and 3 queens from NEW YORK for splits .
So i'm hoping to learn somethings this coming year.  :-D

Glock you shouldnt feed any syrups until april.  You can feed fondant and pollen patties as long as they are patties and not a liquid  right now.  Syrup is a problem with moisture up here in the north.  Usually middle of march for pollen patties but with the warm weather i have gave my bees pollen patties because either way they are going to raise brood the patties will just help them do it just watch out for swarming this early spring.
