I use a color laser printer and Avery labels.  The 2"X3" work well for 12 oz. hex jars, and the 3 1/3" X 4" labels go on 2 lbs. jars.

Mann Lake sells them, custom printed for about 10 cents each....

Kris,

Have you figgured out how much those labels cost you to make?

The big ones would cost about 10.1 cents and the small ones about 6.2 cents, counting labels and toner.  Of course, there is also the cost of the printer and mistakes/test printings, at least until I got it tweaked.   :)

Kris -

Very nice labels.

What software are you using for that?

Thank you.  I'm just using MS Publisher 2000; it came with the Office Professional package.

Does anybody know what style of Avery label seems to work best with 1# jars or 12oz bears?
