this is my second year beekeeping. last year i had one colony and i fell in love with beekeeping. this year im looking to expand greatly. i ordered to pick up 4 nucs this season from out of state and am looking for a few more . i want a few nucs which are more local. 

likin the forum and hoping to find meetings in my area as well.

Hi Tommy, have you joined a local bee club? I'm sure they could point you to local suppliers.
There is an association that meets in Joplin MO, if that's within your driving range.
