Nematodes and SHB

Does anyone have knowledge of nematode use to control SHB?
I just read about it and am curious.
Is it practical for the small to mid-size keeper?

Sounds interesting  . . . I've used them in the garden and lawn with sucess. I'm curious about using them under the hives as well. May have to give them a try. Where did you read about this?

Nematodes or any other type of control in the soil around your hives will theoretically only impact the breeding cycle of SHB. There can still be plague proportions - enough to destroy colonies - flying in from other locations.

Certainly for the small beek. One $25 package will treat around half dozen or more hives. I have used them this year but probably waited too late to Texas Gulf Coast- late June. The SHB count is high right now. In my three hives.
I have noticed a much lower concentration in the a hive with window screen over the top screen board. All have top screen board but only the center one has window screening. One hive in three is not significant but interesting.
