I'm a real newby.  Halfway through the local county beekeeper class, have ordered a couple of packages and am awaiting delivery of hives and frames.

Welcome to the forum and beekeeping.  :cheer:  If you change your profile from hopelessly lost to your town and state (NC), it will help us better at helping you. If you are taking classes thru a local bee club, ask if they have a mentoring program. A good mentor will help you avoid a lot of problems. If not with a club, you might consider joining one.  Good Luck  -Mike

From the name, I'm guessing Seagrove, NC. The pottery capital of the world.
How close did I get?
