Changing out supers

I want to change out supers to repaint and repair those that are in need of some TLC, I wanted to know if this would create an issue and how one would go about performing this.  Thank you much!

No problem, I do it all the time as need when equipment needs repair. Just move the old box and replace with the new equipment and transfer the frames leaving them in the same order. Shake any bees remaining into the new box.
