I would not waste my time on a two frame IMHO. More trouble than worth gained....

They also have a 4/8 frame version for $319.99 (hand crank of course)

10 available / 278 sold - the feedback on their ebay feedback page (re: extractors) all looks good, but a lot of times the feedback is left when an item arrives in good condition, and not after it's actually been used.

I'm not sure where these are made, they are selling them under their " VIVO Technology " ebay store, but that doesn't tell me where the extractors are made. Just curious if any of the regs around here had any experience or info on this version.

I appreciate the reply.

Don't know how many hives you have or how many you intend to have but I personally would stay away from the tangential extractors. Brushy has a TRUE radial that you can buy for 10% off this price with FREE shipping. http://www.brushymountainbeefarm.com/Deluxe-9-Frame-Radial-Hand-Extractor/productinfo/802/

Mann-Lake just had a sale on their 18 frame TRUE radial hand crank for $599 with FREE shipping. HH-170 listed here for $799 http://www.mannlakeltd.com/beekeeping-supplies/category/page119.html#!productInfo/1/

I'd ask around for other opinions before I took the plunge about the difference between tangential and radial extractors and if an extra a extra $200 was worth it or not. Sometimes buying right the first time is less expensive over the long haul. Ask me how I know. :-D

Extracting gets old quick. Buy the biggest and best quality you can afford so you won't regret it.

Thanks for the tips guys . . . radial extractors seem to be the way to go with frames for sure.

Since the direction I was needing to go to get to the heart of my question and reason for asking about extractors in the first place was getting a bit off topic . . . I decided to create a new post for this topic.
