I am wondering if there is a jigga for examing frames.

Im thinking of some type of stand you can place the frame in, in an upright position as it is in the hive.

Has anyone made one? Im just asking before I make one up.

Do you get Bee Culture magazine? There is a great article in there about measuring brood digitaly by taking a digital picture of the frame and then doing all your measurements on the computer after downloading the pictures. Anyway, he has a great little jig there which holds the frame on one side just exactly as you describe, and the camera on the other side to take the picture nice and square! :D

I put frame on ground against the wall.

The long examing of frames is not advisable because brood catch easily cold and do not give sun light to eggs.  You are better to be quick when you examine your hive.
