Just turned 63, good to be new at something.
Love your web site.

I'm almost 75 and started beekeeping in my late 50s upon retirement. Many beekeepers have also. Gotta do something with the boring retirement life. I love NW North Carolina. Not just beautiful, but all the people I met there are very nice. I'm in NW Virginia near the Blue Ridge 10 minutes to eastern NC. We have very similar flowering environments.

Ed, 400 miles in 10 minutes? I don't want to ride with you.

Maybe a typo?

Don't know how the "eastern" got in there. Its 10 min to NC near the Blue Ridge PKW. My family lives at the Outer Banks to VA Beach (raised there). Takes about 5 hours to visit them. Also family in Greenville, SC and Asheville, NC where I trout fish a lot.

I live in the Moon Shine capitol of the world, Good old Wilkes county in the foot hills of the Blue Ridge, Kind of between the Blue Ridge and the Brushy Mts.

By the way, most importantly I live 35 minutes from Brushy Mt. Bee Farm and 25 minutes from Miller Bee Supply.

I know your area fairly well. It is God's country. Good to see you on the forum.

Quite difficult matters can be explained even to a slow-witted man, if only he has not already adopted a wrong opinion about them; but the simplest things cannot be made clear even to a very intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he already knows, and knows indubitably, the truth of the matter under consideration. -Leo Tolstoy

Jack, I'm only 56.., and I'm loving your comment "good to be new at something". I can relate to that.
