After a week without communication, follow-ups, or specific date for order shipment, I finally got frustrated with Kelley's and cancelled the order.

My main reason for ordering from them was their F-Style Foundationless comb guide solid bottom bar medium frames.

The only other place I could find selling this frame for almost double the price (for $2.1/frame) is Beethinking.com.

Does anyone know of any other place selling these at somewhat of a reasonable price?

Thanks!

I don't know if they'll have what you're looking for. Anything over $100 is free shipping, btw, my experience is their customer service is great. I've been using them for the last 4 years.

Thanks for the info.  They didn't have specifically what I was looking for.  I ended up ordering wedged/grooved from them.  Agree, good customer service.  Definitely better than Kelley's.  I think Kelley's have bitten more than they can chew.  They need to shore up their staff and retrain their customer service folks, IMO.

I've never had an issue with Kelley. I've always ordered the F-Style top bar on-line though...

Wish I would have seen this when you posted. I have medium frames built with a solid bottom bar with a starter strip for use without foundation.  Let me know if you are looking for any more.

Just ordered a 100 from ML, so I think I good for now.  I'll check with before ordering my next batch which might be a while away.  Thanks!

I ordered 100 foundationless style frames (as well as a frame assembly jig, and some smaller items) from Kelly on 6/27. Got an email on 7/7 saying they'd shipped, and they arrived 7/8.

My last Mann Lake order took 8 days to ship, and I had absolutely no communication between the order being taken and the order shipping.

They all seem comparatively terrible in my mind (at least compared to every other non-beekeeping industry). Your order probably would have shipped in a day or two when you cancelled it.
