HI EVERY BODY I HAVE A PROBLEM OR QUESTION I WENT SATURDAY AND GOT A SWARM OUT OF AN OAK TREE, I THOUGHT I GOT THEM ALL IT WAS DARK WHEN I FINISHED[I KNOW I GOT THE QUEEN] THE PEOPLE CALLED TODAY ABOUT 4PM AND SAID I ONLY GOT ABOUT HALF OF THEM.  I WAS WONDERING WILL THE FIRST HALF EXCEPT THE 2ND HALF SINCE IT HAS BEEN 3 DAYS?? OR WAHT CAN I DO OR NEED TO DO??  ANY ADVICE WILL BE GREATLY APRESHEATED.. :(

You are sure you got the queen?

My first thought is this is another swarm. I would think with out the queen they would have returned to the hive they came from. If you got the queen before dark it shouldn't have taken long for them to group around her in the new hive...... I don't think.

Go get these with the attitude that it is a different swarm to be safe.

Seems like swarms go in bunches.  I hardly ever find just one.  :)

To Bee Or Not To Bee

Hey beecowboy
This spring I got three swarms from the same back yard.  This all happened in one week and one of the swarms had 2 queens  To me it looks like you have another swarm.
